Essentials of Lower Extremity Reconstruction Course

The next Essentials of Lower Extremity Reconstruction (ELER) Course will be held January 24 – 25, 2025 at the Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas, Texas.

The purpose of this two-day course – a combination of lectures and hands-on skills training – is to teach senior orthopedic residents (PGY3 – 5) and fellows the fundamentals of circular external fixation. Basic biomechanical principles, safe wire and pin placements, and appropriate osteotomy techniques will be presented. Faculty will also discuss patient management during and after fixator application.

Proof of residency/fellowship status is required at time of registration. There is no charge for this course; travel/lodging are the responsibility of resident/fellow.
