Kari Ann‘s ankle was shattered in a car accident in 2021. She recently reached out to Dr. Bibbo writing, “When the first hospital said they could not fix my ankle, and it would need to be amputated, you said you would [fix it], and you did. I am forever thankful for that…. After 3 surgeries, you were able to fix my ankle and give me my life back.”

Kari Ann was struggling with addiction and feelings of worthlessness at the time, and she took the accident as a sign that she needed to turn her life around. She shared, “I celebrated 3 years clean in June.” She rebuilt positive relationships with her family and now works in a treatment center helping women who struggle with addiction and mental health issues.

Kari Ann continues, “Thank you for everything you did. You did not just fix my ankle, but you and your team supported me through my process and helped me get to where I am…. You guys were so caring and understanding and didn’t judge me, but instead guided me and helped me…. I still struggle with my ankle at times, and we knew that would happen, but I’m able to walk…. I get to show up for my family today, and I get to love myself today…. I get to help other women today.” You are amazing, Kari Ann! We are so proud of you!
