Follow Us on Social Media & Join Our ICLL Families Facebook Group
To follow all the latest news from the International Center for Limb Lengthening (ICLL), please follow us on social media. We are on Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter). We share inspirational patient stories, news about our doctors and share pictures from events. If you think your story could bring hope and inspiration to other patients, please share your story and photographs for consideration.
We also have a patient support group on Facebook called ICLL Families. Patients and their families use this group to share their questions, thoughts, discoveries, advice, and support. For patients’ privacy and online safety, this group is restricted to families of patients receiving treatment at the ICLL. Facebook will ask for the patient’s name and the doctor’s name. We will not be able to add people to the group if they do not answer those questions. Please be certain your Facebook account can receive private messages, and remember you may need to check your “Other” message folder.
Disclaimer for the ICLL Social Media Pages
We encourage discussion and comments, but our Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter) pages should not be used to post urgent medical issues. The information provided on our social media pages is not intended to be a substitute for meeting with a medical professional in person to receive medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
To protect patients’ privacy, we will remove comments containing patient-specific, personal, or confidential information. If necessary, we will contact the person privately to continue the discussion. We do not necessarily agree with every comment that individuals post on our page.
These are family-friendly pages, so please make sure that your comments are appropriate. We reserve the right to moderate all comments and remove personal attacks, spam, off-topic comments, disrespectful content, and profanity. We will remove comments that contain advertisements or announcements that are not related to this page. If individuals repeatedly post spam, they may be blocked from the page.
Although Facebook, Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) are available 24 hours a day, we do not monitor it around the clock. We may not immediately respond to questions or immediately remove inappropriate content.
